Self-proclaimed "Brass House" trio Too Many Zooz makes explosive, high-energy instrumental music blending avant-garde jazz, EDM, punk rock, and various other styles. The three-piece band, consisting of baritone saxophonist Leo Pellegrino, trumpeter Matt Muirhead, and drummer David Parks, started out as buskers in the New York subway in 2013. Since then, Too Many Zooz has grown into a global phenomenon and collaborated with artists such as Beyoncé, The Dixie Chicks, and many others. In 2016, they released their debut album 'Subway Gawdz', which was followed by three more albums over the years. Now, 10 years later, their fifth album 'Hip Hop Instrumentals' was released in early September, which they will be performing live at Tolhuistuin on Wednesday, January 27.
