20 years, 7 albums, nearly 100 songs, more than 500 concerts, countless evenings spent rehearsing, hours spent traveling, nights spent talking, sticking together through thick and thin. More than half of our lives. It goes without saying that such a milestone anniversary is cause for celebration. Twenty years of uninterrupted togetherness in any community or relationship is a big deal. In 20 years, the world has changed so much, and we ourselves have changed so much, that we involuntarily ask ourselves where we have come from and where we are going, how this thing we called Esti Kornél has shaped us, and how, even after 20 years, we are still trying to do what we started doing as high school students. We don't want to entertain, we want to lighten our own souls by pouring everything we feel and think about the world into our songs without compromise. Our attitude towards music hasn't changed one bit. And it is very flattering and touching that this whole thing means something not only to us, but also to you who listen to our songs and come to our concerts. That in this infinitely impersonal, virtual world, we have shared, tangible, liberatingly real moments from time to time.
